Weight loss can sometimes feel insurmountable, draining, and like a second job.
Find a way to get energized.
For many people this means being driven by the intention to contribute to the well-being of others.
It is a tremendously powerful form of motivation.
The majority of my clients are dynamic people who run households, work 40-60 hours a week, and provide care for at least one other person in their life.
There’s a common theme with these people: they put themselves last.
Taking care of your body and mind IS NOT selfish.
If you aren’t taking care of yourself, how can you expect to be able to take care of others?
This is what we call ‘the wounded healer’.
You go around helping others, making sure everyone else is taken care of before yourself, and when you get home at the end of the day, there’s nothing left to give.
If you are passionate about helping others and taking care of others, you’d be doing them all a disservice by not taking care of yourself FIRST.
Making healthy eating choices, exercising regularly, getting 7-9 hours of sleep, and reducing your stress are a handful of the things you could be doing for yourself.
If you know this to be true, but don’t have the time or aren’t sure what to do, please reach out to me.
I’m here to help.
All the best,
